Sophie Sampson

When I first started editing it was a whole new experience for me. I didn't know how to edit or use different types of editing software from Adobe. Ever since I started doing a college course relating to the Film and TV industry I have realized that I enjoy editing. With each project I try and improve my skills with Premiere Pro. Some of the projects I have used After Effects. I am very confident at using the camera and all its aspects. Every time I use Premiere Pro I also build up my skills and using different parts of the software.

In my spare time I do editing with videos from YouTube. I experiment with different types of editing software on my mobile phone, which I post on my fanpage YouTube channel and my fanpage Instagram. This helps me see what I can improve on with each published video. At the moment the software I use is Capcut.

Alongside this I have a big interest in my local history, being it used to be an old military training ground.

Being a student filmmaker has transformed my life. This has transformed my life in so many different ways. I'm so grateful to the people who have inspired me.
